Party In The Parc! 2008
Saturday 19th July is the day scheduled to host the fourth and this years Party In The Parc! Following the success of the three previous years we are keen to keep the same format. However due to the success and the escalating costs to meet H&S regulations that this brings, we are having to sell tickets. We have tried to keep the cost down to a minimum. Ticket prices are £5 per adult with OAP's and Children under 15 only £1. Tickets are on sale at Jacobs Ladder, Daniel Jones Butchers and City Travel or e-mail: tickets@mjmagency.co.uk
We will be starting the day at a lower tempo to ease everyone into the day. There will be acoustic sets from some of the best singer songwriters in the area and hopefully everyone can relax in the glorious sunshine, listening to the sounds from the stage and taking in the atmosphere of such a wonderful setting.
As the day progresses we will be looking to up the tempo and start to get you rocking with sounds from various bands playing mostly covers of songs that you all know but with some of their own original compositions thrown into the mix as well.
We encourage you all to bring your gazebo's, chairs, tables, picnics etc. In fact whatever you need to have a great day - bring it with you! (unfortunately open fires and BBQ's will not be permitted due to fire risk and health and safety issues).
Refreshments will be available on the field - such as sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, hot drinks and pancakes. No alcohol will be sold on site. There will also be a few rides and a "Jungle bus" for the younger children.
